With the rapid growth of digital payments and mobile banking, eWallet apps have become essential tools for both businesses and consumers. However, the success of an eWallet app depends heavily on balancing user experience with robust security.
In your experience, what features are absolutely essential for a competitive eWallet solution in 2025? Should developers prioritize biometric authentication, blockchain integration, or perhaps seamless cross-border payments?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve worked on or used any modern eWallet solutions recently.
Thanks Advance

Hey!
Some of the key things I’d look at today are: strong authentication (MFA or biometrics), secure data storage, and clear transaction logs for users. On the infra side, hosting the backend on App Platform keeps deployments simple, Managed Databases give you automated backups, and Spaces can handle receipts or related docs. For event-driven tasks like fraud checks or notifications, Functions fit nicely.
That mix gives you a secure base while still keeping the app smooth for end users.
