Cloud native technologies promise scalability, robustness, and operational efficiency for applications, but the cloud native landscape is broad, complex, and constantly evolving. As a developer, it’s hard to know which cloud native technologies to use and how to use them.
In this talk, we give an overview of current cloud native technologies, and show how DigitalOcean’s products can help you use them. We also share the latest updates to DigitalOcean Kubernetes and DigitalOcean Container Registry.
Adam Wolfe Gordon is a software engineer at DigitalOcean, where he currently serves as the tech lead for managed Kubernetes and container registry. He previously worked on block storage at DigitalOcean and EMC. Adam is a regular conference speaker and a frequent attendee of and presenter at local meetups in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He likes building and debugging microservices, observability, and occasional forays into lower-level software.
