How to mount block storage volume to the Upload directory of my WordPress Website?

I have purchased a block storage volume, now I want to mount it on the WordPress “Upload” directory of my Website.

I have already tried many methods to mount it, but nothing works for me.

You can follow this tutorial on how to mount volumes:

It is suggested to keep the uploads folder within your document root. So either mount the block storage somehere in: /var/www/example.com/u/ or create a symlink for /mnt/storage/uploads to /var/www/example.com/u/uploads for example.

I would recommend first copying your current uploads folder to your new location:

cp -r /var/www/example.com/u/wp-content/uploads/* /mnt/storage/uploads

Then you can update the UPLOAD path in your wp-config file to /var/www/example.com/u/uploads. You can also make the change from your database directly or within the WordPress admin panel as well.
